Xbox, $700 in shoes stolen from woman’s home

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is accused of stealing more than $1,000 in items from a woman’s home after he had previously helped with her vehicle.

Ladedrick Robinson has been charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property worth $1,000 to $2,500.

Memphis Police responded to a burglary at a home on Willet Street on March 16. The victim reportedly police that she had been out of town and when she came home she discovered that items were missing from her home.

According to police, an Xbox worth $400 and six pairs of shoes that were worth a total of $700 had been taken from the victim’s home.

Memphis Police say the victim told investigators that she watched footage from her surveillance system and saw a man coming into her home through an unlocked window.

Police say the victim identified the man as Robinson and told investigators that she recognized him because he had previously helped put a battery in her vehicle.

Memphis Police say the victim later also picked Robinson out of a six-person lineup.

Robinson is due in court Friday morning. No bond has been set at this time.
