'The X Factor' First Look Video: Robbie Williams and Louis Tomlinson in action

We now have the first taste of what to expect from the new The X Factor judges – Robbie Williams, his wife Ayda Fields and One Direction band member Louis Tomlinson – thanks to the just released The X Factor 2018 trailer.

And it looks like original The X Factor judge Simon Cowell is already feeling the pressure from the judge shake-up – as he’s seen fuming at Williams in the trailer.

When Williams teases a contestant with “I don’t like it” followed up after a long pause with “I love it!” Cowell looks visibly annoyed and fumes, “That’s my LINE!”

Meanwhile the trailer also reveals that 26-year-old Tomlinson is not afraid to get tough on the contestants and likely won’t be going for the ‘nice guy’ judge angle. Speaking to one blue-lipsticked contestant he says, “It’s just not my cup of tea. I was a little bit scared of you.” Ouch.

When does The X Factor start?

The X Factor returns to ITV on Saturday September 1.
