The three wrestlers met with student athletes to tell them about the “Next In Line” program and what it takes to make it big in the WWE.

“What I’m looking for are people who are just enthusiastic about doing this. I think for me, a lot of times, there is an expectation that you’re going to have it all figured out and it took me years to hone my craft,” Big E told Channel 2.

Some of the students even had a shot to show off some of their moves.

“I’m gonna get on the top ropes and [elbow drops Moss], all in my Crocs!” one student mimed.

Big E suffered a major injury in March, breaking his neck in three places. He told Channel 2 that his recovery was going well.

“Thankfully, no nerve issues, no disc issues, no pain, no atrophy. The road to recovery is going to take a while, but I’m feeling great, honestly,” Big E said.

Any Georgia Tech athletes who make it big wouldn’t be the first. WWE Superstar Roman Reigns played football at Georgia Tech until 2007 before trying to play professional football and ultimately joining the WWE.
