WWE Hall of Famer Sunny arrested on weapon and terroristic threats charges in Keansburg

KEANSBURG - A WWE Hall of Famer was arrested in Keansburg Thursday on weapon and terroristic threats charges.

Tamara Lynn Sytch, 49, commonly known by the ring name “Sunny,” has been charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon and one count of terroristic threats, according to county court records.

Sytch, of the Belford section of Middletown, is being held at Monmouth County Jail, according to court documents.

Police declined to comment on the details of her arrest.

Sytch's previous arrest was in February 2019 when she was charged with her sixth DUI, TMZ reported.

She was a wrestling manager and ring announcer for various wrestling leagues in the 1990s and is known for being the first WWF diva.

She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
