Can You Make Wrinkles Go Away for Good?

Marcella has tried Botox for her forehead wrinkles and loved the results – but follow-up injections provoked a bad reaction, raising welts on her face. She wants a wrinkle solution that will last.

Dermatologist Dr. Billy Groff has performed Thermirase for Marcella, a new heat-based treatment that can reportedly erase wrinkles for good! “Wrinkles are created from repetitive muscle interaction with your skin with time,” he explains. With Thermirase, the doctor uses heat from a probe to damage the nerves that stimulate muscle movement.

Dr. Groff says that patients who’ve had the procedure five years ago are still not showing any return of wrinkles. “We’ll have to wait and see,” he adds, “Because ‘permanent’ is a long time!” Thermirase costs $2,000-3,000, as compared to the annual cost of Botox – around $1,000-1,500 per year.

“This is why I love doing The Doctors! I learn something every day,” says Plastic Surgeon Dr. Andrew Ordon. “I have never seen this type of reaction, where you acquired a sensitivity” to the neurotoxins in Botox.
