A former Brownstoner Building of the Day in Bed-Stuy has been demolished to make way for a new apartment building. The over-140-year-old house at 330 Throop Avenue, which featured a very cool mansard roof, was built sometime before 1873 and at various points in its history was home to a children's clinic and a sports club. The property sold to a developer, disguised by an LLC, back in October for only $926,000 and will soon be home to a four-story, 40-foot building with eight apartments.
