WPD cracking down on speeders on Kellogg
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — There were more Wichita police officers on motorcycles than normal patrolling Kellogg on Thursday.
A Facebook post from the Wichita Police Department says officers from the WPD Traffic Section worked a “concentrated enforcement” in the 4000 block of W. Kellogg Ave. due to community complaints of speeding and aggressive driving.
Wichita car dealer ordered to pay $418,000, DA says
For roughly two hours, the officers watched for speeding and other violations.
Officers issued a total of 27 citations, with the highest speed ticketed being 85 mph.
