Further evidence that Manchester United's attackers are still not as razor-sharp as they should be comes in the form of a video of Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic struggling to cut into a wheel of Swiss cheese.
The pair heaved at the knife until they were blue in the face, but were evidently still handling the blade a little too caerphilly.
Zlatan, un-feta'd from his captain, was eventually able to complete the task when Wayne was swapped out for a bigger fellow with a clear wealth of experience in cheese-chopping.
They say you can't keep a gouda man down and Manchester United fans will be hoping that both Ibrahimovic and Rooney recover from their exertions in time for this weekend's match against Watford at Old Trafford.
For Wayne, the incident is another example of his lack of incisiveness in a season where he has found the goal With his future still not assured at United - he will hope the club don't hold this mild faux pas against him.
Jose Mourinho has recently said that he is still having to shake some of his players from their "comfort zone", and he looked on bemused as his star players failed to throw their full weight behind this presumably simple task.
Though we've still to see him cut any cheese, Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann is one of the sharpest footballers in the world at the moment - and Mourinho cannot wait for his arrival at Old Trafford this coming summer.
