World Series: WWE's Triple H sending custom championship title to Houston Astros
The Astros’ Josh Reddick will probably call dibs on the package that’s headed Houston’s way from Stamford, Connecticut.

World Wrestling Entertainment is sending the Houston Astros a custom WWE championship belt in honor of their first World Series in franchise history. WWE’s Triple H congratulated the Astros on Thursday and shared a picture of the custom title:

Reddick is no stranger to championship titles. During his brief stint in Los Angeles last season, the outfielder started a tradition of presenting a blue Dodgers championship belt to the player of the game. When he signed with the Astros in the offseason, Reddick decided to order a custom Astros belt and kept the tradition going with his new teammates.
Reddick even wrote about his WWE fandom on The Players’ Tribune in 2015, and how he’s developed a friendship with Triple H over the years:
Eventually, Triple H found out I used his music and invited me to meet him. He gave me his phone number and said if I ever needed anything, don’t hesitate to call. I didn’t know how to handle that. I definitely wanted tickets, but didn’t want to be “that guy” and mooch for everything I possibly could. So I just shot him a text message. He was real nice about it. “Don’t hesitate,” he said. “Every time you want something, give a heads up. Just make sure you give me a two-week advance.”
Now, when I go to an event, it’s backstage passes, front-row seats and I get to hang out with all the wrestlers. They’ll just let me go back there to eat their food, drink their Cokes and waters and hang out with the guys. It’s incredible. Triple H and I have actually become pretty good buddies. I call him Hunter most of the time (Triple H is an abbreviation of his character’s name, Hunter Hearst Helmsley) because it’s kind of weird to call him by his actual name (Paul).
The Astros’ new championship title could be on display on Nov. 19 when the WWE heads to Houston for their “Survivor Series” pay-per-view. There’s still time to book one last Dodgers-Astros showdown, but this time in the wrestling ring.
