New workout equipment added to Bayshore Boulevard trail in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — There is new workout equipment along Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa.

You will now find 10 revitalized workout stations spread across a mile of the walking trail between West Bay Street and South Rome Avenue.

While on a walk or bike ride you can stop and get a pump on pretty much any muscle you’d like.

Tampa General Hospital leaders said they worked with exercise experts to bring in diverse equipment fit for anyone at any level.

“We’re going to have QR codes so you can learn how to use the equipment and get some fun, fresh ideas for working out,” said Rachel Bozich, TGH Project Manager.

This is part of TGH’s “TampaWell network” initiative.

The updated exercise pads are brought to you by TGH, Tampa Parks and Rec, and the Hill Ward Henderson law firm.
