Worcester's Little Free Libraries offer a world of reading for Read Across America Day
On Saturday, millions of Americans will pick up a book, open the cover and read in honor of National Read Across America Day. The annual event also marks the birthday of Springfield native Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, encouraging youngsters to read one of the iconic tales or dress in the iconic stripes of the Cat in the Hat.
Worcester Public Schools shared their enthusiasm for Read Across America Day on Friday ahead of the Saturday holiday.
