Woodlawn Health welcomes new nurse practitioner
Mar. 21—Woodlawn Health announced Thursday that Stephanie Weigt, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, would join Woodlawn Medical Professionals as nurse practitioner.
Weigt graduated from Indiana University with degrees in psychology and nursing.
She went on to Ball State University to get her Master of Science in family nurse practitioner.
She joins the Woodlawn team with over 14 years of experience in family practice, internal medicine, and urgent care.
"I love being a nurse practitioner because I help individuals become the best version of themselves," she said. "I meet them where they are in their health journey and give them the tools to achieve their health goals. Patient education and empowerment are keys to enhancing quality of life for people with chronic medical conditions."
Weigt said she was proud to call Woodlawn Health home.
