WOOD TV8 eclipse special readies MI for rare event

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Monday night, WOOD TV8’s The Seven focuses on an upcoming phenomenon in the skies above West Michigan. “Totality: WOOD TV8 2024 Solar Eclipse” is a Storm Team 8 special.

Our five meteorologists will analyze what we’ll experience on Monday, April 8, when the solar eclipse occurs. They’ll look at the last total solar eclipse in 2017, and explain what makes it different from the eclipse we’ll experience in two weeks.
