You Won't Believe the Incredible Story Behind the Newest 'AGT' Golden Buzzer Recipient

16-year-old Christian Guardino floored the America's Got Talent judges with his incredible voice. Although, his eyes are pretty amazing, as well. Christian went blind when he was a child, but regained his sight thanks to an experimental gene therapy. Christian's mom described what happened after the treatments, saying, "He turned to us, he goes, 'Mom, is that you sitting there?' That was our first confirmation that it worked. It's a miracle really." Christian was really nervous when he walked out on the stage, but once he started singing, it was like he had been performing on stages all of his life. Christian started belting out The Jackson Five's hit, "Who's Lovin' You," and Simon Cowell looked at his fellow judges in complete shock. Christian went on to nail his performance, and afterward, Simon was left speechless. He said, "Christian, I need ten seconds here because I'm actually--I don't know what to say right now." And Mel B followed that up by yelling, "I mean, what just happened?" Howie Mandel knew exactly what happened, and he had an offer for Christian. Howie asked, "If you can make one wish right now, this second, to make something come true for yourself, what would you wish?" Christian kind of awkwardly giggled and said, "Probably the Golden Buzzer." Howie then told him, "Well, your wish just came true," as he slapped the Golden Buzzer, releasing gold confetti all over the stage. Christian was, understandably, shocked and could hardly put together a sentence. When Tyra Banks asked him how he was feeling, Christian stuttered for a moment before saying, "It's absolutely incredible. I can't believe it actually happened."
