After Powerball drawing delay, $1.3 billion jackpot won in Oregon in Saturday's drawing
One lucky Powerball player woke up a billionaire on Sunday morning.
The Powerball grand prize rose to a whopping $1.3 billion after no one won Wednesday's drawing. The prize ranked as the fourth-largest Powerball jackpot in U.S. history, according to Powerball.com.
The cash value sits at $608.9 million.

The Powerball drawing was delayed Saturday, according to Powerball.com.
"Powerball game rules require that every single ticket sold nationwide be checked and verified against two different computer systems before the winning numbers are drawn. This is done to ensure that every ticket sold for the Powerball drawing has been accounted for and has an equal chance to win," the website said.
"Tonight, we have one jurisdiction that needs extra time to complete that pre-draw process."
Officials asked that players hold on to tickets for Saturday's drawing until pre-draw procedures are complete.
When are Powerball drawings?
The Powerball drawing takes place live at 9:59 p.m. CT every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
How many balls do I need to win Powerball prizes? How much are tickets?
The cost is $2 per ticket, but you can add the Power Play for $1, which will increase the amount of your potential prize up to five times the original prize (except for the jackpot and Match 5). There is also a 10x Power Play possibility when the jackpot is less than $150 million.
Each player selects five numbers from 1 to 69 for the white balls and one number from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball. However, you can also have the lottery machine generate a quick pick ticket with random numbers for you.
Prizes vary from $4 for matching the Powerball to $1 million for matching all five white balls (except in California) to the jackpot for matching all six balls. You can check all the prize payouts on the Powerball website here.
