A woman has suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash in south Devon, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the incident involving two cars happened on the A385 near Totnes at about 20:40 BST on Saturday.

The driver of one of the vehicles, a woman in her 70s from the Brixham area, was taken to hospital in Plymouth to be treated for her injuries.

The driver and passenger of the second car, both men in their 20s, suffered minor injuries and were released at the scene, police said.

The force has appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage, to get in contact.
