Woman shoots husband after he was caught cheating: Report

BRYAN, Texas (WJW) — A Texas woman was arrested after a shooting in her home last week, the Bryan Police Department confirmed to FOX 8.
Police were called to a neighborhood in Bryan, Texas, just after 7 a.m. on April 16 for reports someone had been shot.

An arrest report obtained by KBTX said that Stephanie Arevalo shot her husband in the leg after she believed he’d been cheating on her. Arevalo also threatened another woman who was also in the home.
According to the report, Arevalo called 911 to confess the crime. She reportedly told police she knew she would be taken into custody and that her husband deserved what he got.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but police said he was later released after treatment.
