Woman realizes she’s been shot while riding through Plum Orchard neighborhood
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A woman was riding in a car in a New Orleans East neighborhood when she heard gunshots, then realized she was the one shot.
The New Orleans Police Department reported the shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 23 at the intersection of Selma Street and Lonely Oak Drive.
Woman hit, killed while trying to cross road in Gentilly Terrace
After realizing she had been shot, she went to a gas station and called for help. She was taken to a hospital by EMS.
