A woman peeing on produce at Walmart was caught on camera. She turned herself in

Police in Pennsylvania have found the woman who allegedly urinated on produce at a Walmart.

The incident, which took place in West Mifflin on June 24, involved a woman identified as Grace Brown.

Brown turned herself in with her attorney after detectives identified her on store footage and contacted her.

A Walmart employee had spotted urine on the floor by the potatoes, according to a police statement. Footage later showed Brown urinating on the potatoes, though it is unclear if she urinated on more produce.

No charges have been filed yet, but police said the county district attorney’s office had been contacted. The office recommended Brown be charged with "criminal mischief, open lewdness, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness."

“The safety of our customers is a top priority for us," Walmart said in a statement sent to USA TODAY. "This type of obscene conduct is outrageous, and we immediately disposed of the affected products and sanitized the area to ensure its cleanliness and safety for our customers."

It follows a slew of troubling incidents in which people tamper with food at grocery stores, including a woman who licked and returned Blue Bell ice cream and the copycats that followed.
