Woman Narrowly Avoids Attack After Trying to Pet a Moose
A moose wandering in downtown Breckenridge reacted aggressively after a woman made the mistake of trying to pet it on Thursday, February 27.
The woman can be seen in the video approaching the moose and when it got close to petting it, the moose lifted it’s hooves and stomped toward the woman.
According to the Breckenridge Police Department, the woman has been identified and police will share with Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials. Harassing wildlife is a misdemeanor offense and an offender will be cited, police wrote. Credit: Anna Stonehouse via Storyful
