Woman killed in Marrero house fire
MARRERO, La. (WGNO) — The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Eighth Fire Protection District of Jefferson Parish are investigating a fire that left a woman dead in Marrero on Tuesday, May 7.
The JPSO reported firefighters responded to a fire at a home in the 3000 block of Sorbonne Drive around 3:15 p.m.
Teen reported missing in Metairie
JPSO officials said once the fire was extinguished, an unresponsive woman was found inside the home. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
