Woman killed in Lancaster County pedestrian accident

LEACOCK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – A Pennsylvania woman was killed in a pedestrian accident in Lancaster County.

According to the Lancaster County Coroner’s office, Nereida Rodriguez, 28 of Washington, Pennsylvania, was fatally struck on the 3000 block of Lincoln Highway East in Paradise.

The coroner’s office says they were called to the scene shortly after 1 a.m. on May 14 and said Rodriguez had traumatic injuries from the incident. She was declared deceased around 1:33 a.m.

An autopsy will be scheduled and the case is under investigation. Officials have not released any information on the driver involved.
