Woman Kicked Off Of Flight Over Exit Row Ruckus: “I’m Not Going To Save Anybody”

A woman on-board a recent Frontier flight to Houston was removed by officers after first refusing to properly agree to exit row seat protocols, and later disrespecting airline staff.

According to viral footage shared by TikTok travel account TravelWithTia, the woman, who was seated in an aisle seat in the exit row, refused to state “yes” to helping other passengers in case of an emergency. “Oh, I’m not going to save anybody. If something happens, I’m going to save myself,” she was heard asserting.

While many share this sentiment, her decision to verbalize this led to another flight attendant being called over. Account holder Tia claims the woman was only “joking,” but still refused to give a verbal “yes” to the question, a legal requirement of taking the seat. Tia also claims the woman was “unruly” and disrespected both attendants by calling them out of their names, including calling the Black woman flight attendant the N-word. “I don’t know why you brought the ni**a over here thinking she’s going to be one of us and get me to calm down.”

She was then asked to exit the plane, which she refused, resulting in the pilot leaving the cockpit to see what all the fuss was about.

“Once the pilot got involved, once the police got involved, it was a wrap for her, baby,” Tia added. The rest of the plane was then de-boarded so that police could be brought on to escort her off the plane. Other passengers recorded the woman, who claimed to be on her way to pick up her grandson, being escorted off the plane in handcuffs. Check out viral footage of the incident and Tia’s breakdown below.

The viral moment comes two months after a woman was removed from a Spirit Airlines flight for displaying erratic behavior. While footage didn’t show what led to the outburst, it shows officers asking her to deplane.

“I will walk out on my own,” she declared as law enforcement attempted to grab her wrists and remove her from the flight. “Can I do that with freedom? All I care about is freedom.”
