This Woman Had a Starbucks Maternity Shoot
Kate Engelmaier,a Starbucks-loving 22-year-old from Georgia, just went where no basic woman has gone before. Joining the Belly Art Project - a book that encourages moms to support moms and put artwork on their pregnant stomachs - Kate had a Starbucks-themed maternity photoshoot. The photos are amazing.
Due to have a boy on Feb. 28, Kate is a recent college graduate that runs a blog called A Brave Mess, where she writes about becoming a new single mother.
She told Cosmopolitan.com she wanted her maternity shoot to be special. "I knew I wanted to do something unique that would stand out as well as represent me, and I guess my basic-ness."
With that in mind, Kate had a friend stencil out her stomach to look like the Starbucks siren and helped her paint. Then she went to Starbucks where her sister took her photos for a full-blown Starbucks maternity shoot. See the beautiful photos below:
