Today is the summer solstice, ringing in the official start of summer, and it appears the fashion set are wasting no time plotting parties into their calendars.

Tuesday night saw the A-list of fashion congregate at the Serpentine Gallery for their namesake annual party and last night, the V&A hosted their own shindig.

Held at the famous museum itself,  the party welcomed a slightly more arty roster of guests, and the outfits reflected that with one guest donning a sequin burger dress.

(It has to be seen to be believed.)

Aside from that, the likes of Princess Beatrice, Ciara, Lady Kitty Spencer, Brooklyn Beckham and Mary Charteris donned their best summer party attire for a night of champagne-sipping.
