Woman who disappeared after stay at medical facility found
A woman who hasn’t been seen by her family in more than a month is no longer missing.
Deputies say Melissa Loggins left Athens and went to Covington on May 10. That same day, she was seen at Newton Piedmont Hospital.
Authorities say Loggins was released from Newton Piedmont Hospital and taken to another facility, where she stayed for one week.

The Newton County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook they needed help finding Loggins.
An update to the post states she was located.
