Woman dies weeks after collision with school bus in south St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A woman died from her injuries several weeks after a school bus struck her in south St. Louis County.

The St. Louis County Police Department has identified Sarah Oberlohr, 48, of Florissant, as the victim. Police say she died from her injuries on March 30 following a collision on March 13.

Investigators say Oberlohr was crossing Telegraph Road as a school bus was turning from Forder Road and struck her. Police say the driver did not see her crossing while turning onto Telegraph Road.

Police initially believed Oberlohr’s injuries would be non-life-threatening. She later ended up in a hospital for treatment and died 17 days after the crash.
