Woman dead after crash in Rockville

ROCKVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — Montgomery County fire officials said that one woman died and another was injured in a crash in Rockville early Saturday morning.

Around 2:35 a.m., Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) officials were called to the area of the intersection of Route 355 and Rollins Avenue.

Two cars were involved in the crash. One had rolled over. Responders had to rescue everyone from both of the cars.

One woman died at the scene. The passenger in the car that rolled over, another woman, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
