A woman in Waco, Texas, called the police last week when her order of chicken nuggets at McDonald's took longer than she expected.

According to KWTX, the woman ordered chicken nuggets at the drive-through, and when the order took longer than she expected, she put her car in park and refused to move, despite a line of cars behind her. The restaurant's manager called 911 and while officers were responding to that call, the woman also decided to call 911.

"The woman, who still was parked in the drive-through lane, told officers she was upset because it was taking so long for her order to arrive and that she thought the nuggets ought to be free,” Waco Sargent W. Patrick Swanton told KWTX.

In the end, the woman did not get any chicken nuggets - but she did get a refund.

The Waco Police department posted about the fiasco on their Facebook page, saying, "Yes it happens!! We actually had the chicken nugget call last night!"

Even though police responded to the call, Swanton said, "We definitely have better things to do than respond to a call about chicken nuggets not being served quickly enough."

Friendly reminder than being hangry is not actually an emergency (I know, I know).
