Woman’s body found in Newark Bay near park in Bayonne: officials
BAYONNE, N.J. (PIX11) — A woman’s body was pulled out of Newark Bay in Bayonne, New Jersey on Tuesday, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
The Hudson County Sheriff’s Department got a call that a woman was found in the water near Stephen R. Gregg Park around 1:30 p.m., authorities said. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been identified, officials said.
The cause of death is still pending the results from the medical examiner. Officials said there were no visible signs of trauma on her body.
