Woman arrested after suspected crack cocaine found in Rusk County investigation

HENDERSON, Texas (KETK) – The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) made an arrest on a 65-year-old woman on Thursday as a part of an ongoing drug investigation.

According to a release, the RCSO served a controlled substance search warrant at 341 County Road 483 in Henderson on Thursday, and during the search officials found suspected crack cocaine and packaging materials.

Officials said that they arrested an individual identified as Vera Fletcher, 65 of Henderson, at the scene of the search. Vera was booked into the Rusk County Jail and charged with manufacture of delivery of a controlled substance with a bond of $75,000. She has since been released.

The RCSO said this was a part of an ongoing investigation and they anticipate further arrests.
