Woman arrested after police find stolen vehicle at Decatur home

DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) — Police arrested a woman on Wednesday after a search revealed a stolen car and drugs at a Decatur home.

Investigators with the Decatur Police Department’s (DPD) Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested 42-year-old Windy McCutcheon and 47-year-old Gordon Hughes II following a search at a home on Flicker Road.

DPD said that while searching the home, the investigators recovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. A further search of the property led agents to recover a vehicle that was reported stolen through the Madison Police Department.

McCutcheon was charged with first-degree receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hughes is facing a loitering in a drug house charge.

She is out on bond for drug trafficking, while he is held in the Morgan County Jail waiting to be released on bond for loitering in a drug house.
