Woman arrested in hit-and-run after man found in Pinellas Park ditch

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A woman was arrested on Friday in connection with a hit-and-run after a man was found dead last month in a Pinellas Park ditch, according to the Pinellas Park Police Department.

Nicole Carlson, 26, of St. Petersburg, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving death, police said.

2nd suspect arrested in shooting near Armature Works

Carlson allegedly hit and killed Michael Vilaysack on March 31 and then drove off, according to police.

Vilaysack was found in a ditch along 62nd Avenue North, police said.

Investigators said debris was found near the body, which had injuries that appeared to be from a vehicle.
