This Woman's Pizza Dress Tops Every Wedding Gown Ever

From Delish

From 22-carat pizza engagement rings to a wedding gift registry service, Domino's knows we're obsessed with their cheesy dough. Their newest campaign, the Domino's Piece of the Pie contest, is letting fans put their love for pizza on full display.

Olivia Mears, a costume designer from North Carolina, raised the stakes with her entry: A full-on pizza wedding dress made out of pizza boxes, hand-painted fabrics, and foam. Plus, she made a throne out of pizza boxes, so you could say she's our new idol.

Mears said it took her a few hours each night for two weeks to complete the dress. Her friends and family had tagged her in posts about the contest, so she decided to give it a shot.

"I love having definite goals that push me to be more ambitious and work harder in creating new things, especially when others get enjoyment out of it too," Mears said.

If that wasn't enough, the dress fans out when you lay down, making for pretty much the best no-wedding wedding photos ever.

"The 'stuffed crust' hemline functioning as a pillow when I lie down was a nice bonus," Mears said.

The yearlong contest offers pizza lovers a chance to earn a piece of the company just by signing up for Domino's rewards program. As part of the contest, Piece of the Pie Rewards members are automatically entered in a monthly contest from December 2016 to November 2017, and each month 25 members win 10 shares of Domino's stock.

For the Twitter and Instagram portion of the contest, fans had to follow Domino's on either of the social media platforms and post pictures tagged with #PieceOfThePieContest, showing or explaining why they love Domino's. The contest ended April 16, though winners have not yet been announced. Fifty winners will receive $10,000 each. (Just think of how many Cinna Stix that would buy!)

One thing is for sure, people LOVE their pizza. More than 1,200 Instagram posts were tagged, and the results are seriously creative:
