Woman allegedly pistol whips man over money

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman accused of pistol-whipping a man who she says owes her money is now in jail.

Tiffany Miller, 43, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and is being held in jail on a $200,000 bond.

On April 5, just before 11 p.m., officers say they responded to a call at a South Memphis home on Kentucky Street. The victim stated that he got into an argument with Miller because he was unable to pay her the money he owed her that day.

The victim stated that Miller reached out of the car window and tried to hit him, but he blocked her arm. That is when Miller reportedly sped off.

Shortly afterward, Miller returned with a man. Reports state that she got out of the car armed with a black handgun, walked up to the victim, and pointed the gun at his forehead.

The unknown man, who was with Miller, then stood behind the victim and pointed a gun into his side before hitting him in the back of the head with the gun, police say.

MPD says that is when the victim fell to the ground and Miller began to hit him in the face several times with the black handgun.

The victim’s sister ran over to help him, but Miller pointed a gun at her and told her to “get back”.

Miller is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday morning.
