Woman accused of throwing small child on ground in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 20-year-old woman has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after police said she was seen throwing a small child on the ground.

Officers said they responded to a domestic incident involving an infant in the area of W. 5th and Clinton street Wednesday, just before 10 a.m.

According to police, Anikka G. Coulter was in an argument with the child’s father when she threw the child, who was uninjured. Police said the father was able to care for the child and leave the area.

Coulter was taken to the Jamestown city jail to await arraignment.
