Woman accused of live-streaming break-in, stealing $1k in wigs

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman was arrested after she allegedly live-streamed herself breaking into another woman’s apartment last week.

Takayla Lundy, 20, was booked into the Shelby County Jail Thursday for aggravated burglary and theft of property.

The victim said Tuesday she began receiving messages from friends who said Lundy was posting videos of herself inside her apartment on Facebook.

The victim said she checked Facebook and saw that Lundy had recorded herself walking around her apartment complex, opening her front door, and walking inside.

The victim said when she returned home, she discovered that $1,000 worth of wigs, some shoes, and a watch were all missing.

Lundy was released from jail on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
