GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Western Michigan’s defensive lineman Marshawn Kneeland is getting ready to take his game to the next level.

Kneeland’s stock has soared with solid performances in the Reese’s Senior Bowl and then at the NFL combined. On Monday, he did some field drills for the scouts at Pro Day.

He’s projected to be a second or third round pick. The Lions, Chiefs and Vikings are among the teams he’s met with.

These are exciting times for the Godwin Heights alum.

“It’s been a crazy experience. It’s something you really only get once in a lifetime. But it’s definitely a different experience as far as, like, you almost made it and you’re going to be in the best of the best league with all the best people. So it’s definitely exhilarating, it’s fun, I’m just happy to be here,” he said.
