Make-A-Wish is sending 4 El Paso kids to Disney

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Make-A-Wish Serving El Paso, American Airlines, and Disney are sending 28 families to the Walt Disney World Resort and four of those families are from El Paso.

The El Paso Police and El Paso County Sheriff’s Officers associations will be escorting the four families to the El Paso International Airport on Friday, April 17, according to the news release from Make-A-Wish.

These are the local children that are a part of the Make-A-Wish:

  • Five-year-old Jaylen Olivas, congenital heart disease

  • 14-year-old Hailee Ozaeta, leukemia

  • 15-year-old Andres Melendez, cancer

  • 17-year-old Fernanda Camacho, leukemia

The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to accomplishing wishes for children with critical illnesses, according to the news release.
