Winnebago County sheriff's police arrest five women, two men in prostitution detail

ROCKFORD — Winnebago County Sheriff's Department police arrested five women and two men on Thursday after targeting female escorts listed on backpage.com advertisements.

Suspects responded to text messages from deputies requesting dates for sexual acts, according to a news release. The suspects then responded to a location where the transactions were confirmed.

Those charged with prostitution are Traci L. Klinefelter, 44; Shannon Pulliam, 25; Inishia L. Cooper, 21 and Taylor L. Sheldon, 22. Sheldon also had a warrant out for possession of drug paraphernalia. Brooke L.A. Daggett, 18, was arrested for promoting prostitution and possession of heroin.

Timothy Brugger, 56, and Ryan McLean, 19, were charged with promoting prostitution.
