Winfield schools on lockdown, students not in direct danger

WINFIELD, Kan. (KSNW) — The middle and high schools in Winfield are currently in lockdown, according to an email sent to parents Wednesday.

USD 465 said law enforcement is on site, but no students are in any direct danger.

Ascension recommends business partners suspend connection due to ‘cyber security event’

KSN has learned the students were being released as of 4 p.m.
