CARLSBAD, Calif. (FOX 5/ KUSI) — Nothing says “spring” like The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch, and there’s more than just blossoms to be enjoyed this season.

There are some fun ways to relish the farm’s 55 acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus — a flower known for its large, double-petaled blooms that sit atop tall, straight stems.

With peak bloom usually occurring around six to eight weeks each year — between early March through early May — there are an array of events that have been scheduled during that timeframe.
