Weather Watcher Brigitte Lewis sent in this lovely picture of El Paso in bloom. Fantastic! It’s no wonder everything is alive and blooming because the official high today was 91. The peak wind gust was 28 mph. The winds do get stronger for Wednesday, and your forecast is below…

TONIGHT:  The skies will be clear, and the winds will be a bit gusty right on the east slopes early in the evening.  The SW winds will range from 10-25 mph but will slowly die down to a light breeze.  The low will be 62.

FORECAST:  Wednesday will be sunny and windy (no dust) with a high of 92.  The SW winds will range from 10-35 mph… enough to call windy but not strong enough to lift up the dust.  Thursday will be sunny with lighter winds and a high of 87.  The west-NW winds will range from 10-25 mph.  On Friday, enjoy sunshine and light, warm breezes.  Friday’s high: 89.  Saturday will be sunny with moderate afternoon winds.  The SW winds will peak at near 35 mph, which will not be strong enough to produce blowing dust.  Saturday’s high: 90.  Sunday will be sunny with lighter winds with a high of 90. Monday will be a terrible weather day with strong winds and blowing dust.  Peak gusts will approach 55 mph, and the high will be 89.
