Wilmington-area restaurants are opening again for the busy season. Here's a look.

The clocks are changed, and warmer weather is ahead. That can only mean that some of the Wilmington-area restaurants that hibernate for a month or two in the winter are ready to reopen for the season.

American Fish Company: Take in drinks, sunset views and live music at 150 Yacht Basin Drive in Southport. Opened March 1.

Anne Bonny's Bar & Grill: Downtown Wilmington's only floating bar and restaurant serves Calabash-style seafood, frozen drinks, local beer and water views at 106 S. Water St. Opened Feb. 24.

Beauchaine’s 211: This longtime Pender County restaurant is a waterfront spot for date nights and family dinners at 211 S. Topsail Drive in Surf City. Opened March 2.

Biggers Market: This market and backyard bar opened for the season at 6250 Market St. in Wilmington. Opened March 15.

The Boat Landing Restaurant: Chef Ryan Duffy, who recently helped out when celebrity chef Bobby Flay came to town is once again cooking waterside fare at 102 N. Sunset Blvd., Sunset Beach. Opened Feb. 29.

Britts Donut Shop: This Carolina Beach mainstay at 13 Boardwalk opened a little earlier than in previous years. Opened March 22.

Carol Sue Farms: In Hampstead, this spot is opening for a pre-season sale offering early berries, ice cream and honey. And official opening is in the works, too. Opening March 22.

Cloud 9 Rooftop Bar: This rooftop bar and restaurant at downtown Wilmington’s Embassy Suites hotel is at 9 Estell Lee Place. Opened March 15.

Fantasy Isle Ice Cream and Golf: One of Holden Beach's oldest businesses is part mini-golf, part ice cream shop at 3354 Holden Beach Road S.W., Supply. Opened March 1.

Frosty's Ice Cream: New owners are opening this seasonal business at 8200 E Oak Island Dr. in Oak Island. Opening March 23.

Frying Pan: It’s waterfront dining in Southport with classic dishes like shrimp and grits, seared tuna and the Galley Combo seafood feast. They’re at 319 W. Bay St. Opened March 2.

Inlet View Bar & Grill: At Hughes Marina, this business has been a Shallotte mainstay for decades, with fresh seafood and water views at 1800 Village Point Road S.W. Opened March 7.

Island Times Cafe: This restaurant at Deep Point Marina recently celebrated 10 years in business serving breakfast and lunch all day, and by-the-slice baked goods. Opened March 8.

Lewis Farms: Look for picked strawberries, ice cream, baked goods, and plants at 6517 Gordon Road. Opened March 20.

Maine Lobstah Shack: This spot at 411 Roland Ave. In Surf City was named one of the best restaurants for seafood in North Carolina in 2023 Opened March 15.

Pelican's SnoBalls: Check out fluffy shaved ice in more than 100 flavors. There’s a location at 204-C N. New River Drive in Surf City. And at the 4802 Market St., Wilmington spot, you can also often find Dona Elva’s Authentic Mexican food truck. Opened March 4.

Provision Company, Holden Beach: This location at 1343 Cedar Landing Road S.W. made some updates during their break, including new windows, floor and bar top. Opened Feb. 15.

Provision Company, Southport: It’s seafood, comfort food and views of the Southport Yacht Basin, the Intracoastal Waterway and the mouth of the Cape Fear River at 130 Yacht Basin Drive. Opened March 14.

Riverview Restaurant: This spot is located on the Blakeslee Air Force Recreation Area in Kure Beach, 121 Riverfront Road but open to the public for fresh seafood. Opening May 10.

The Sailfish: Located at Marsh Creek Marine at 2570 Scotts Hill Loop Road in Wilmington, there’s a new chef in the kitchen this season, Gary Walker: Opened Jan. 24.

Seaview Crab Company: This local seafood market opened two seasonal locations -- at 2009 Castle Hayne Road and at Biggers Market, 6250 Market St. in Wilmington. It's limited hours now, but they'll expand soon. Opened March 16.

Sugar Shack: Brunswick County's Jamaican restaurant returns for its 2024 season at 1609 Hale Beach Road S.W. in Ocean Isle Beach. Opened March 19.

Waterfront Seafood Shack Market & Eatery: This spot was recently named one of the best in the country for seafood. It’s on the water at 9945 Nance St., Calabash. Opened March 13.
