According to police, Khan hit another vehicle from behind on Snow Road, which caused “minor damage” to both vehicles.

“Khan was more than double the legal limit and had her child in the vehicle with her at the time of the accident,” according to Semmes Police Chief Todd Freind.

“That constitutes endangering the welfare of a child.”

Khan has since been released from Mobile Metro Jail.
