Williams and Jeswald tag team as guest speakers for Rotary Club of Harris County
Pine Mountain, Ga. (WRBL)-Wednesday morning local Rotarians hosted two of our very own at Rotary Club of Harris County. Chief Meteorologist Bob Jeswald and Chuck Williams were the Rotary Speakers this morning.
After breakfast and announcements Bob introduced Chuck and Chuck talked about his transition from paper to T.V. and how the infamous day of March 3, 2019, added a greater appreciation of weather and how “Experience Matters”. Chuck touched on the emotional impacts of that day, and about other stories.
Bob and Chuck touched on the importance we can make on a community, as broadcast journalists and meteorologists, including the team at WRBL. They fielded great questions and gave a new meaning to presenting to a group as a “Tag Team,” The Chuck and Bob Show…
A special shoutout to the Rotarians, who perform their monthly task of packaging backsnacks (backpacks full of food) for the St. Nicholas Episcopal Church. Each backsnack contains enough food items to keep a school child living in a food-insecure family from going hungry over a weekend.
