Wikki Tourist gaffer, Bala Nikyu was glad to have secured a point at Ifeanyi Ubah, but he claims the result wasn't a surprise.
The two sides played out a 0-0 draw on match day 25 in the Nigeria Professional Football league on Sunday afternoon.
Following their 3-0 loss to Akwa United, Nikyu revealed that he told charges that they can't afford to lose two matches on the bounce.
"This isn't surprising result because football isn't predictable," Nikyu told Goal.
"If you recall, Ifeanyi Ubah beat a team 3-0 away from home so that shows what football can offer any time.
"We played an outstanding match three days back and unfortunately we lost 3-0 to Akwa United through some careless mistakes, and before the game against Ifeanyi Ubah I told my boys that we can't afford to lose two matches on the bounce and the response from the team was positive.
"In football you can't have it good all the time, what ever Ifeanyi Ubah must have been doing to make their home ground a fortress may have worked for them but probably today wasn't their day and we benefited from that.
"Our host played very well, they held the ball very well and that's one feature of a good team.
"At the end of the day you don't allow such team expression because if you do they will finish you.
"This is one point gained for us and we thank God for that. We had an opportunity at the end of time, if we had buried it may be we would have got maximum points but it's two points lost for us and an important point picked up."
