According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, just after noon on Wednesday, a 20-year-old man from Wichita was fleeing police in a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 east on U.S. Highway 50. With him was a 29-year-old woman, also from Wichita.

The KHP says the Ram 1500 exited onto the westbound entrance ramp, going the wrong way onto Kansas Highway 177 just west of Strong City.
