Wichita company’s fireworks show places 3rd in USA Today’s 10Best

ATCHISON, Kan. (KSNW) — A Wichita company’s fireworks display has placed third in USA Today’s 10Best.

The “Concert in the Sky” fireworks show at the annual Amelia Earhart Festival in Atchison placed third in the 10Best competition for the best fireworks display. Wichita’s Stellar Fireworks Inc. produces the display.

In addition to the Amelia Earhart Festival, They have produced displays for the 100th Anniversary of Niagara Falls and the U.S. Olympic Festival, World Fairs, Sea World Florida, Texas and California and Six Flags parks, Caesars Palace and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The company has been operating for over 40 years.

“Concert in the Sky” fireworks show beat out larger shows in cities like St. Louis and San Diego and even the annual Fourth of July celebration in Philadelphia. You can see the full list of winners by clicking here.
