Why This New Mom Doesn't Care What Shamers Are Saying About Her Post-Baby Body
Just one month after giving birth to her son, Tripp, 27-year-old model Katherine Webb is looking and feeling great. The former Miss Alabama took to Instagram on Monday to share a mirror selfie that she took in a changing room while shopping for bikinis.
"Shameless selfie...but seeing progress just from breastfeeding," she wrote in the caption. "Pretty awesome how the body works!"
Webb, who documented her pregnancy on Instagram, was open about the amount weight that she gained during her pregnancy, and so had no patience for haters trying to take away her celebratory moment:
"Note: I gained 44 pounds during my pregnancy, so this post isn't meant to be 'humble.' Say what you want, but I feel great about myself even with the extra cellulite on my butt and stretch marks so shoot me if I felt banging for once in this bikini..okkkkk"
The majority of the more than 8,700 comments Webb received so far are positive, noting that the new mom looks amazing.
